The production process of paper cups mainly includes the following steps to ensure the forming, waterproof performance and appearance quality of paper cups:
Polyethylene coating: Substrates (such as food-grade wood pulp) are coated with a polyethylene film through a coating machine. This film is the key to the waterproofness the paper cups, ensuring they don't leak during use. Single-sided or double-sided coating can be selected as required.
Paper cutter: Use a paper cutter to cut coated paper into rectangles and cut up paper rolls for cups. Rectangular paper pieces of paper are used to make cups, while rolls of paper are used to make the bottom of paper cups.
Printing: Printing patterns or words on rectangular pieces of paper to meet the personalized needs of customers. In the printing process, must ensure that the color is accurate, the pattern is clear, and the ink used must conform to food safety standards.
Die-cutting machine: Using a flat-press crease cutting machine (commonly known as a die-cutting machine) to cut printed rectangular pieces of paper into fan shaped pieces. These scalloped pieces of paper are key parts of making the cup body. In order to ensure the forming quality of the cup, the size and shape of the paper cups must be controlled accurately.
Shape: Fan paper and cup roll paper into the feeding port of the paper cup molding machine. The paper cup molding machine automatically finishes paper feeding, sealing, punching and so on, and gluing the cup body and cup bottom together to form a complete paper cup. In the process, ensure a strong connection between the cup body and the bottom of the cup by heating or sealing.
Edge treatment: To treat the edges of a paper cup, such as curling. Not only does this prevent liquids from spilling over, it also makes it easier to carry and stack paper cups.
Packaging: The prepared cups are sealed in a plastic bag and then packed in a cardboard box. In the packaging process, paper cups must be kept clean and safe to avoid contamination and damage.
